Introducing Your Friends To Artichoke

Many of you are members of our Facebook Group @artichokegirls so you will already be aware that over the past few months we have been asking a few questions about how we can improve our offer to you – we call it your homework!

One of the questions that we asked was about our online “Refer A Friend” scheme which lots of you didn’t know about, if you would like to find out how to use it, please follow the link.

Many of you however thought that this was a too transactional way of recommending us to friends & of course it doesn’t work if you shop with us either over the phone or in store. So we have come up with a plan …….

If for example one of your friends admires a jumper, handbag or scarf rather than pointing them in the direction of our Refer A Friend scheme having told them where you purchased the item from, you can suggest to them that if they mention your name whilst making their first purchase with us, they may receive a small discount.

Of course once your name is mentioned they will receive a 10% discount but more importantly it is a big cue to us that we should be popping a £5 voucher on your account!

For this to happen in store & over the phone as well as online we are starting to make a note in our payment machine of existing customers name & contact details. If when making your next purchase with us, we forget to ask you – please remind us!!!!

We will run this new system side by side with the existing one for a few months, regularly reminding you of it’s existence & of course getting feedback in the group about how well it is working for you.
