Meet The Artichoke Girls – Sue Welfare
Today we are meeting the super talented Sue Welfare, artist & author.
We met at when we had adjacent stalls at The (fabulous & highly recommended) Ely Flower Festival. On the last day as we were packing up our respective stands she shoved a book in my hand mumbling something about having written it. So this woman I know as an artist, now thinks she’s an author, oh dear I thought, but beamed politely & took the book.
I made the same mistake with ‘Losing Leah’ as I did when I was first presented with our Stehmann trousers, it was absolutely brilliant, which yet again proves ladies, that you should never judge a book by it’s cover! The next in the series ‘After Annie’ has just been published.
